Define the components and subcomponents of your installation.
If you want to view descriptions about a specific component or subcomponent, highlight the field. Information appears in the Description field of the main window.
Caution: Prior to installing the __INSTBLE__ software, you must have installed and configured Windchill Info*Engine and Windchill Foundation and PDM. For complete details about the required products and installation and configuration instructions, see the Windchill Installation and Configuration Guide and the Windchill Release to Production Installation and Configuration Guide.
Enter the directory where the __INSTBLE__ software is to be installed. This is the directory where your existing Windchill Foundation and PDM application is installed.
Note: The default Windchill installation directories are C:\ptc\Windchill on Windows and /opt/ptc/Windchill on UNIX systems.
Select the types of the machines that are to access this installation directory. PTC.Setup detects the hardware platform of your machine and lists that machine type as the default.
Select the components you want to install by selecting the appropriate check boxes.
Windchill Release to Production — This component enables Windchill to connect to an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system.
The available disk space for the installation directory specified is shown in the (Disk Space) Available field.
The disk space required to install the components selected is shown in the (Disk Space) Required field.
